Danilo Parra is an award winning Chilean-American director based in New York City whose work combines a documentarian’s eye with cinematic world-building. His background in documentary shaped an instinct for observing people closely, responding to real emotion, and finding the unexpected moments that make a scene feel alive. Drawn to outsiders, contradiction, and the space between humor and darkness, Danilo creates visually expressive films that feel both heightened and human.
